Live Piano Sound Journey Trevor Stephens

Trevor is a self-taught pianist and composer from the East Coast who relocated to Santa Cruz in early 2024. He began playing piano at age 12, drawn to the instrument by the powerful emotional release he found through improvisation. His expressive playing explores vulnerable emotion and narrative while dancing between dissonance, deceptive cadences, and catharsis. Outside of solo piano, his work ranges from ambient electronic tracks to jazz ensembles and short film scores. He draws inspiration from Romantic composers and contemporaries such as Philip Glass, Max Richter, Nils Frahm, and Brian Eno.

Unwind and downregulate to a rich soundscape through the tender, resonant sound of acoustic piano.
